Entering the
PIN code
If in the Release menu you have selected Block or if you have set the
Additional settings menu up for access via a PIN code, you have to
enter the PIN code.
Settings within the Additional settings menu can then only be changed
by people with administrative rights.
The PIN code is set at the factory to 8 0 0 0 if access in Additional
settings is blocked.
The following PIN-entry screen will appear in the display, for example:
Enter code
0 0 0 0
Use the and arrow buttons to enter the numerical values, and
confirm each entry with the OKbutton.
Each press of the OKbutton takes the highlighting to the next input
position automatically.
Each entered digit is replaced by an asterisk (*).
The protected settings are unlocked once all digits have been
correctly entered.
If an incorrect PIN code is entered, the following message will appear
in the display:
K
OK
Wrong code entered
Press the OKbutton to acknowledge the message.
The display will then revert to the input menu.
