Electrical connection
*INSTALLATION*
113
Electrical connection
All electrical work must be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician in accordance with local and national safety codes.
- The electrical system must conform to local and national safety
standards.
- The dishwasher can be plugged into an electrical outlet (the outlet
must be accessible after installation). This will then make it easier to
perform an electrical safety check, e.g. during repair or service
work.
- If the dishwasher is permanently wired to the electricity supply, a
main switch capable of disconnecting the dishwasher at all poles
must be installed. This switch must have a contact gap of at least
3mm and also be lockable in the neutral position.
- For added safety, a ground fault interrupter with a release current of
30mA should be installed upstream of the dishwasher.
- If necessary, equipotential bonding can be carried out.
- The power cord may only be replaced by an original Miele spare
part.
- For technical data, see the data plate or the accompanying wiring
diagram.
The dishwasher may only be operated with the voltage, frequency,
and fuse rating shown on the data plate.
This appliance can be converted to a different type of power
supply in accordance with the accompanying conversion and wiring
diagrams.
The conversion diagram and the data plate are supplied with and
affixed to the appliance, respectively.
Grounding
connection

(marked with the ground symbol ) at the back of the machine.
