9.7 FUNC Key File (S6 Mode)
This mode is used to assign special functions to the Speed Keys. There are seven different
function keys that can be assigned to any of the Speed Keys. Once a function is assigned to a
Speed Key that key will no longer have multiple levels, it will only be that function.
Function Keys available are:
•Discount Amount •Discount Rate •Shop Number •Clerk Logon/Logoff
•Total Label •Subtotal Label •Label Format
9.7.1 Assigning Function Keys
Follow the procedures below to assign the special functions to the Speed Keys.
1.) Start at the normal weigh mode screen
2.) Press the Mode Key twice
3.) Press the number six key then press the
X key
Note: This has the same results as pressing the X key
five times.
4.) Press the Print/* key
5.) Assign the Discount Amount function to
a Speed Key
Ex.) Do Not Use the Discount Amount
function. Enter a 0 by pressing the
number zero key
