9.6 PLU Key File (S5 Mode)
The PLU Key File mode is used to assign programmed PLU’s to the Speed Keys. The Speed Keys
are configured with 3 levels of 56 keys or a total of 168 possible Speed Keys available. Follow
the steps outlined below to assign PLU’s to the Speed Keys.
Note: Please keep in mind that if there is Function Key (S-Mode S6 FUNC. Key File) already
assigned to a Speed Key location that location cannot have a PLU assigned to it.

9.6.1 Programming a Speed Key on Level 1
1.) Start at the normal weigh mode screen
2.) Press the Mode Key twice
3.) Press the number five key then press the
X key
Note: This has the same results as pressing the X key
four times.
4.) Press the Print/* key
Note: Refer to the figure above for an explanation of
the display.
