1. Verify that the power cord is disconnected from the outlet (Fig. 1).
2. Pry off the battery cover and remove it from the battery compartment (Fig. 2).
3. Remove the battery from the battery compartment. Insert the new battery with the terminals in the
direction as shown (Fig. 3).
4. Position the battery cover in the angle of inclination as shown. Then insert it into the slot on the
battery compartment and press down the battery cover to click into place (Fig. 4 & 5).
