4.4.9 Face Detection
Face detection function is to detect the face appearing in the surveillance scene. Alarms will
be triggered when a face is detected.
The setting steps are as follows:
1. Go to Config→Event→Face Detection as shown below.
2. Enable the face detection function.
Save Source Information to SD Card: if checked, the whole picture will be saved to the local
PC or SD card when detecting a face.
Save Face Information to SD Card: if checked, the captured face picture will be saved to the
local PC or SD card when detecting a face.
Note: To save images to the local PC, please enable the local smart snapshot storage
first (Config→System→Local Config). To save images to the SD card, please install an
SD card first.
