The bases of a safe operating of the equip-
ment is the regularly maintenance accord-
ing to the following maintenance plan.
Use only original parts of the manufacturer
or part suggested by him, such as
parts and wearing parts,
accessories parts,
operating materials,
cleaning agents.
DANGER
Risk of accident while working on the unit.
During all tasks
First switch-on in voltage-less state,
switch off the emergency stop switch
and secure it against being switched on
again.
Shut off water supply.
Operator
Work labelled with "Operator" may only
be performed by instructed persons ca-
pable of operating and maintaining
washing bays with recycling systems.
Customer Service
Work labelled with "Customer service"
may only be performed by KÄRCHER
customer service technicians.
In order to guarantee a reliable operation of
the equipment, we success, you signed a
maintenance agreement. Please refer to
your local Kärcher service department.
The waste water trap must be cleaned at
regular intervals (see Chapter "Mainte-
nance plan").
Open the pipe clamp on the waste wa-
ter trap.
Disconnect the pressure line at the con-
nection.
Remove waste water line.
Pull the waste water trap off the hydro-
cyclone towards the bottom.
Unscrew the cap on the waste water
trap.
Rinse the waste water trap and the
transparent connection piece with clear
water.
Ensure all connections between lines
are firm during installation.
Turn off the appliance.
Unscrew filter chambers.
Remove and clean filter insert.
Screw on filter chamber with filter insert
and hand-tighten.
The pump pressure of the immersion pump
in the pump basin can be read on the indi-
cator.
For the proper function of the hydrocyclone
a pump pressure of at least 0.05 - 0.08 MPa
is required.
Check pump pressure.
If the indicator shows less than 0.05
MPa, determine the cause (see Chap-
ter "Troubleshooting").
The outlet pressure of the compressed air
supply pressure reducer can be read on the
gauge.
An outlet pressure of 2.5 bar is required for
proper function.
Check the outlet pressure.
If the gauge shows less or more than
2.5 bar when in operation, correct the
settings on the pressure reducer.
