ADJUSTING FENCE SQUARENESS (FIG. 17)
● Lower the cutting arm and lock in position.
● Loosen the four fence locking bolts (1) with
a 6 mm hex wrench.
● Using a square (2), lay the heel of the square
against the blade and the ruler against the
fence (J) as shown.
● Adjust the fence 90° to the blade and tighten
the four fence locking bolts.
NOTE: If the saw has not been used recently,
recheck blade squareness to the fence and
readjust if needed.
● After fence has been aligned, make a cut
at 90° using a scrap piece of wood and
check squareness on the piece. Readjust
if necessary.
WARNING: ALWAYS MAKE DRY RUNS
(UNPOWERED) BEFORE FINISH CUTS
TO CHECK THE PATH OF THE BLADE
AND THE OPERATION OF THE GUARDS.
ENSURE THE FENCE DOES NOT
INTERFERE WITH THE ACTION OF THE
SAW OR GUARDS.
