Setting the Record Source
When Using a Cable Box
If you are programming
a timer recording with a
cable box, `your Record
Source depends on whether or
notyou have setup Cable Box
Control (see page 104)
If Cable Box Control is on,
set the Record Source to the
actual cable channel `you
wish to record (recom-
mended).
If Cable Box Control is off,
set the Record Source to
Channel 2, 3, or 4 -
whichever `your cable box
uses - and manually select
the channel `you want to
record on the cable box.
6 Set Event Type
Use the number keys (1-4) to set the type of event, i.e.
how often the event will be recorded. The default
setting is "1-Time".
1 1-Time - The event will be recorded only once.
2 Monday-Friday - The event will be recorded every
weekday.
3 Weekly - The event will be recorded once a week.
4 Always - The event will be recorded every single
day.

7 Set Recording Source
Use the number keys (1-3) to set the Record Source.
The default setting is the current tuner (television)
channel.
1 OH # - Records from the ]uner. Use the number
keys (0-9) to set the channel number.
2 Line 1 - Records from the front line inputs
3 Line 2 - Records from the rear line inputs.
