Direct Time Search
Use Direct Time Search to
locate a specific tape location
in hours, minutes, and seconds.
This is useful for editing pur-
poses, i.e. you can advance the
tape directly to the beginning of
the desired scene.

Open "Search Menu"
From Stop or Play mode, press the Search button.

Using the joystick, move the selection arrow to "Direct
Time Search," then push right to select.

Press 1 for positive or 2 for negative counter values.

Enter the Time
Use the number keys (0-9) to enter the desired time in
hours, minutes, and seconds. Press Clear if you need to
backup and re-enter a number.
