5 Turn On TV, DVD-VCR & Cable Box
Press the power buttons on the remote control, TV, and
Cable Box.

6 Set DVD-VCR Output Channel
Set the channel switch on the back panel of the DVD-
VCR to 3 or 4, whichever is NOT used by your cable
box.
7 Tune TV to the Same Channel
Select the channel you used in step 6.

8 Connection is Complete!
The "Language/Langue/Idioma" menu will appear on
your television screen. Please proceed with Auto Setup
on page 9.
• After Auto Setup is complete, you MUST run Cable Box
Control Setup; see page 104. This will allow you to auto-
matically control the cable box with your DVD-VCR.
• Use your cable box to select channels.
• If you are not getting a good picture, repeat steps 6 and 7
using the other channel; i.e. channel 4 instead of channel 3.
