Usingthe control panel lock feature
You can lock the control panel to prevent your settings flom
being changed accidentally (by children, for example). When
the control panel lock is On, none of the controls on the TV
control panel will operate except POWER.
To lock the control panel:
1Press M_uand highlight tile Locks menu icon.
2Press to display the PIN code entering screen.
3Enter your four-digit PIN code and press (/_.
4 Press to highlight Front Panel Lock.
5Press and or to highlight On and press @. When
the control panel is locked and a button on the control
panel except POWER button is pressed, the message
"NOT AVAILABLE" appears.

To unlock the control panel:
Highlight Off in step 5 above, or press and hold the
VOLUME -button on the TV control panel for about 10
seconds until the volume icon appears on-screen.
Settingthe sleeptimer
You can set the sleep timer to turn offthe TV after a set length
of time (maximum of 180 minutes).
To set the sleep timer:
SLFEEP
Press o on the remote control to set the length of time until
ss sLFE_EP
the TV turns oft\ Repeatedly pre._'s o to increase the time in
10-minute increments or press or to increase or decrease
the time in 10-minute increments, to a maximum of 180
minutes.
To cancel the sleep timer:
SLFEEP
Press o until it is set to 0 minutes.
To set the sleep timer using the on-screen menus:
1Press M_uand open the Setup menu.
2 Highlight Sleep Timer and press,@.

Press the Number buttons to enter the length of time in
10-minute increments.

4Highlight Done and press @.
Notes:
When a power failure occurs, the sleep timer setting
may be cleared.
To display the amount of time left on the sleep timer,
press _L.
To display the remaining sleep time:
Press SLEEPer).
Note: A message will display on-screen when there is one
minute remaining on the sleep timer.
