• A fllse in your holne Inav be blown or tile circuit breaker tripped.
• Tile oven controls are not properly set.
• Tile oven controls are set tiir cleaning. If necessary, allow tile oven
to cool then open tile door.
• Tile light bulb is h)ose or deti_ctive. Tighten or replace tile bulb.
• Tile ()veil is self-cleaning or in a "TIMED" delay mode. Tile ()veil
lights do not come oil during self cleaning or during a "TIMED"
delay inode until tile oven begins heating.
• Tile oven controls are ilnproperly set. See tile "How to set your
()veil for baking or roasting" section.
• Oven not preheated tot a long enough time (use at least 15 minutes).
• Incorrect cookware or cookware of ilnproper size being used.

• Shelves ill the wrong position. See the "How to set the oven tor
baking or roasting" section.
• Use a foil tent to sh)w down browning during roasting.
• Tile oven controls are not set at BROIl,. Turn both tile oven control
and oven telnperature knob to BROIl,.
• hnproper shelf position being used. See the Broiling Guide.
• Food is being cooked in a hot pan.
• Cookware is not suited ti)i" broiling. Use tile broiling pan and grid
that caine with your range.
• Aluininunl loft used on the broiling pan and grid has not been fitted
properly and slit as recoininended.
• Ill some areas the power (voltage) inav be low. Preheat the broil
eleinent tor 10 ininutes. Broil tor the hmgest period of tiine
recoininended ill the Broiling Guide.
• The oven teinperature is too high to set a self clean operation.
Allow tile oven to cool to rooin teinperature and reset tile controls.
• The controls are not properly set. Be sure the mode selector knob is
set ill the TIMED position.
• This is normal. This is the sound of the metal heating and cooling
during both the cooking and cleaning fimctions.

• Excessive soil. Turn tile ()veil control knobs to OFE Open tile
windows to rid tile room of smoke. X_'ait until tile locked door
indicator light goes off. Wipe up excess soil and reset tile clean cycle.
• Tile oven was heavily soiled. Clean up heavy spillovers betore starting
tile clean cycle. Heavily soiled ()veils inav need to sell'clean again.
• ()veil is connected to a 208V electrical supply. Set your cleaning
tilne tor 4 hours.
• Tile ()veil controls are not properly set. Be sure tile mode selector
knob is set in tile TIMED position. See tile "Self Cleaning" section.
