Remote Engine Start with Climate Control
An “Engine Stop” button will display, once your vehicles engine has successfully
started. If you choose to stop your vehicle, press the “Engine Stop” button and
enter your STARLINK PIN to send the command. If needed, the engine can also
be stopped by pressing and holding the Engine START/STOP button on the vehicle
dashboard for more than 2 seconds.
* Depending on environmental conditions or air conditioner performance, the interior
temperature of the vehicle may not reach the desired setting.
** Remote Engine Start will only operate for a total runtime of 20 minutes before the
vehicle will need to be manually restarted from within the vehicle.
(Example: 5 Minute + 5 Minute + 10 Minute = 20 minute total runtime)
Depending on how your vehicle is equipped, some features might not
be available. Your vehicle will need to be equipped with the following for

NOTE
SUBARU STARLINK Features
This feature will not work under the following conditions:
Ignition is ACC or ON
Vehicle is moving
Any vehicle door / engine hood / tailgate or trunk is ajar
If your vehicle has not been started for more than 13 days (page 40)
Weak signal area
NOTE
Do not remote start a vehicle in an enclosed environment (e.g. closed
garage). Prolonged operation of a motor vehicle in an enclosed environment
can cause a harmful build-up of carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide is
harmful to your health. Exposure to high levels of carbon monoxide can cause
headaches, dizziness or in extreme cases unconsciousness and/or death.
