Operation of all cooktop and oxen burnei3 shouM be
checked after file range and gas suppl) lines hme been

Select a top burner knob and simultaneous]) push ill and
turn to LITE position. "_Luwillhear a clicking sound
indicating proper operation of file spark module. Once file
air has been purged from the supp b lines, burnei_s shouM
ligJlt wiflfin 4 seconds, After burner lights, rotate knob out of

Quality of Flames
The combustion qualit\ of burner flames needs to be
determined visualh
(A) Yellow flames--
Callfor service
(B) Yellow tips on
outer cones--
Normal for LP gas
(C) Soft blue
flames--Normal for
natural gas
If burner flames look like (A), call for service. Normal
burner flames should look like (B) or (C), depending
on the type of gas you use.
With 12 gas, some yello_ tipping on outer cones is normal.
[] CHECKIGNITION OF OVEN BURNER
The oxen is desig_led to ot)eram quiet]) and m_tomafical]y.
To ot)erate the oxen, t)ress the BAKE pad mitt then t)ress file

cannot be lit manualh with a match. Gas will not fl()w unless
the glow bin" is hot.
If the oxen is ill use when a power outage occm% the btlrner
will shut off and cannot be re-lit until power is restored.
