Configuring Video and Audio
You can configure the encode settings for main stream and sub stream.
Select Setting > Camera > Encode > Audio/Video.
The Audio/Video interface is displayed. See Figure 5-24.
Encode parameters might be different depending on devices, and the actual product shall
prevail.
Audio/Video
Select a channel number.
Configure parameters. For details, see Table 5-8.

Parameter Description
Video Enable the sub stream.
Type
The record type of main stream is permanently fixed as general and cannot be
changed. General, motion detect and alarm use the general stream configurations
for recording.
Stream Type Sub stream types.
Compression Encode mode of video.
Resolution The higher the video resolution, the better the image quality.
Frame Rate
(FPS)
Configure the frames per seconds for videos. The higher the value, the smoother
and more vivid the image.
