Troubleshooting
Please check the following before calling for service:
1. Place one cup of water in a glass measuring cup in the oven and close the door securely.
Operate the oven for one minute at HIGH 100%.
A.
Does the oven light come on? YES _______ NO _______
B.
Does the cooling fan work? (Put your hand over the rear ventilating openings.)
YES _______ NO _______
C.
Does the turntable rotate? (It is normal for the turntable to turn in either direction.) YES _______ NO _______
D.
Is the water in the oven warm? YES _______ NO _______
2. Remove water from the oven and operate the oven for 5 minutes at Convec 450˚F.
Operate the microwave oven for one minute at HIGH 100%.
A.
Do CONV and COOK indicators light?
YES _______ NO _______
B.
After the oven shuts off, is inside of the microwave oven hot?
YES _______ NO _______
If “NO” is the answer to any of the above questions, please check electrical outlet, fuse and/or circuit breaker. If they are
functioning properly, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST VIKING RANGE, LLC AUTHORIZED SERVICER.
