The dispenser is
leaking water or
dripping.
NOTE: A few drops of water remaining after water is dispensed is normal.
■ The glass was not held under the dispenser for long enough - Keep the glass under the dispenser
for a further 2 to 3 seconds after you release the dispenser pad/lever.
■ The installation is new or the water lter was recently installed or replaced - Air in the water line
will cause the dispenser to drip water. Flush the water system to remove the air from the water lines.
See “Water and ice dispensers” in the Instructions for the user or the user Manual.
■ Ice remains are melting in the bin duct - Make sure that the ice duct is free of frost or pieces of ice.
Water is leaking
from the back of the
refrigerator
■ The water line connections are not properly adjusted - Make sure that all connections are tight.
See “Water supply connection”.
The water from the
dispenser is not cold
enough (in some
models)
NOTE: The water from the dispenser cools to 50°F (10°C).
■ New installation - Allow 24 hours following installation for the water supply to cool completely.
■ A large amount of water was recently dispensed - Allow 24 hours following installation for the
water supply to cool completely.
■ The water dispenser has not been used recently - The rst glass of water may not be dispensed
cold. Discard the rst glass of water.
■ The refrigerator is not connected to a cold water pipe - Make sure that the refrigerator is
connected to a cold water pipe. See “Water supply requirements”.
The user interface does
not respond
■ The user interface is being pressed too quickly - wait for 10 seconds before pressing any key.
■ The user interface is in locked mode - Hold LOCK down for 3 seconds to exit locked mode.
