Connect to Refrigerator
Style 1
1. Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect the power supply.
2. Remove and dispose of the short black plastic part of the end
of the water line inlet.
3. Screw the nut onto the end of the tubing. Hand-tighten the
nut and then tighten it with a further 2 turns of the nut driver.
Donot over-tighten.
NOTE: To avoid annoying noises, make sure that the copper
tubing does not touch the side wall of the housing or any
other parts inside the housing.

4. Install the water supply tube clamp around the water supply
line to reduce the strain on the coupling.
5. Turn shut-off valve on.
6. Check for leaks. Tighten any connections (including
connections at the valve) or nuts that leak.
Style 2
1. Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect the power supply.
2. Remove and dispose of the plastic part attached to the end of
the water line inlet.
3. Attach the copper tubing to the valve inlet using a
compression nut and sleeve as shown. Adjust the
compression nut. Do not over-tighten.
4. Use the tubing clamp at the back of the refrigerator to secure
the tubing to the refrigerator as shown. This will help to avoid
damage to the tubing when the refrigerator is pushed back
against the wall.
5. Open the shut-off valve.
6. Check for leaks. Adjust any connections (including the valve
connections) or nuts that leak.
7. In some models, the ice maker is tted with a water lter.
Iflocal water conditions require a second water lter, it
should be installed in the 1/4" (6.35 mm) water line in any of
the tubing connections. Get a water lter from your nearest
household appliance dealer.
Style 3
1. Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect the power supply.
2. Remove and dispose of the black nylon plug of the gray water
pipe at the back of the refrigerator.

3. If the gray water tubing supplied with the refrigerator is not
long enough, a 1/4" x 1/4" (6.35 mm x 6.35 mm) coupling is
needed to connect the water pipe to the existing household
water line. Screw the nut on the coupling to the end of the
copper tubing.
NOTE: Tighten the nut by hand. Then tighten it with a further
2 turns of the nut driver. Do not overtighten.

4. Open the shut-off valve.
5. Check for leaks. Tighten any nuts or connections with leaks
(including the valve connections).
