REFRIGERATOR CARE
CLEANING
WARNING
Explosion Hazard
Use nonammable cleaner.
Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or re.
Both the refrigerator and the freezer section defrost automatically.
Nevertheless, clean both compartments more or less once a
month in order to prevent the accumulation of odors. Clean any
spillages immediately.
To clean your refrigerator:
1. Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect the power supply.
2. Remove all the detachable parts from the inside, such as
shelves, crispers, etc.
3. Wash, rinse and dry all the detachable parts and inside
surface thoroughly. Use a clean sponge or a soft cloth and a
mild detergent in lukewarm water.
Do not abrasive or rough cleaning products, such as
aerosols for windows, cleaning products for polishing,
inammable liquids, cleaning waxes, concentrated
detergent, whiteners or cleaning products containing petrol-
derived products on plastic parts, on the inside, door liners
or gaskets. Do not use paper towels, scouring pads or
other rough cleaning utensils. They may scratch or damage
the materials.
To help get rid of odors, you can clean the inside walls
with a mixture of lukewarm water and sodium bicarbonate
(2spoonfuls in a quarter of a gallon [26 g in 0.95 L] of
water).
4. Check whether your refrigerator has a painted metal or
brushed aluminum (with stainless steel appearance) exterior
and choose a suitable cleaning method.
Painted metal, model 7WRS21SDHW: Clean the outside
with a clean sponge or a soft cloth and a mild detergent in
lukewarm water. Do not use rough or abrasive cleaners or
cleaners intended for stainless steel. Dry thoroughly with a
soft cloth. Moreover, to avoid damaging the painted outside
metal surfaces, apply household appliance wax (or paste wax
for automobiles) with a clean and soft cloth. Do not wax the
plastic parts.
Brushed aluminum (with stainless steel appearance),
models 7WRS21SDHM, 7WRS25SDHM: Wash with a clean
