specific and optional features offered with the
series. It also describes features that are not
necessarily available in your vehicle, e. g., due
to the selected options or country versions.
This also applies to safety-related functions
and systems. When using these functions and
systems, the applicable laws and regulations
must be observed.
Dynamic Damping Control
Concept
This system reduces undesirable vehicle mo‐
tion when using a dynamic driving style or trav‐
eling on uneven road surfaces.
This enhances the driving dynamics and driv‐
ing comfort depending on the road surface
condition and driving style.
General information
The system offers several different damping
settings.
The damping settings are assigned to the dif‐
ferent driving modes of the Driving Dynamics
Control, refer to page 115.

Adaptive M chassis
Concept
The Adaptive M chassis is a controllable sport
chassis/suspension. This system reduces un‐
desirable vehicle motion when using a dynamic
driving style or traveling on uneven road surfa‐
ces.
This enhances the driving dynamics and driv‐
ing comfort depending on the road surface
condition and driving style.
General information
The system offers several different damping
settings.
These are assigned to the different driving
modes of the Driving Dynamics Control, refer
to page 115.

Performance Control
Performance Control enhances the agility of
the vehicle.
To increase maneuverability, wheels are
braked individually when a sporty driving style
is used. The resulting braking power is simul‐
taneously largely compensated by an engine
intervention.
