When it is especially dirty, I always wash it under the spray faucet and then dry it outside for a couple of days. I do it a few times a month. They are inexpensive so if it needs to replaced, no big deal.

The battery has a light indicator that will show the progress of its charging. Blue cascading light will show charging is on-going. It shuts off when the battery is fully charged.

This is what we bought the Tineco for was to clean our tile floors, it works really well in open areas. Along the walls does a decent job, although just like a vacum cleaner it doesn't get as close to the wall as I would like. Overall we are very happy with it and its ease of use.
