If
Programming
the
Remote
did
not
find
the
code,
try
this
procedure
to
automatically
find
the
code
for
the
device.
If
the
remote
becomes
inopera-
ble,
go
back
to
"Programming
The
Remote"
and
enter
the
Zenith
TV
code
(001)
for
Step
5,
see
page
60.
Turn
On
the
device
you're
programming
the
remote
control
to
operate.
Press
and
hold
the
PRG
key
2.5
seconds
until
the
Red
LED
indicator
light
stays
On.
Press
the
key
for
the
device
you're
trying
to
program
(CABLE,
VCR,
AUX,
TV).
Red
LED
will
blink.
Press
Channel
Up
or
Channel
Down
to
send
a
power
On/Off
code.
Red
LED
will
blink
with
each
press.
Repeat
until
the
device
turns
Off.
(This
is
a
trial
and
error
process,
so
it
may
be
necessary
to
repeat
these
steps
until
the
remote
finds
the
code.)
Press
ENTER
to
save
the
code.
Red
LED
will
blink
twice
and
exit
search
mode.
Press
POWER
to
turn
the
device
back
on.
You
can
quickly
get
out
of
Auto
Find
by
pressing
ENTER.
If
the
LED
indicator
light
stays
On
while
you
push
Power,
instead
of
turning
Off,
all
the
codes
have
been
tried
and
the device
can't
be
programmed.
