Drying
Drying is a traditional method of
preserving fruit, certain vegetables and
herbs.
It is important that fruit and vegetables
are ripe and not bruised before they are
dried.
Prepare the food for drying by cutting
it up, and peeling and coring it if
necessary.
Distribute the food to be dried evenly
according to size over the rack or the
glass tray.
If you are using both the rack and
glass tray, insert the glass tray below
the rack.
Select Special applications.
Select Drying.
Alter the recommended temperature
if necessary and then set the
duration.
Follow the instructions in the display.
Turn the food for drying on the glass
tray at regular intervals.
The drying times are longer for whole
or halved food.
