you should use a NTP server that has a me
synchronizaon funcon, such as the server at the
Naonal Time Center (IP Address: 210.72.145.44).
If the DVR is set up in a customized network, NTP
soware can be used to establish a NTP server
used for me synchronizaon.
Conguring RTSP
Purpose:
The RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) is
a network control protocol designed for use in
entertainment and communications systems to
control streaming media servers.
Steps:
1. EntertheNetworkSettingsmenu
Menu >Conguraon>Network
2. Select the More Settings tab to enter the
More Settings menu

3. EntertheRTSPportinthetexteld
nextto RTSP Service Port.Thedefault
RTSPportis554,andyoucanchangeit
accordingly.
4. Click Apply button to save settings and
exitthemenu.
Conguring Server and HTTP
Ports
Purpose:
Youcan change the server and HTTPports in the
NetworkSettingsmenu.The default server port is
8000andthedefaultHTTPportis80.
Steps:
1. EntertheNetworkSettingsinterface.
Menu>Conguration>Network
2. Select the More Settings tab to enter the
More Settings interface.

thetextelds.ThedefaultServerPortis
8000andtheHTTPPortis80,andyou
canchangethemaccordingtodierent
requirements.
4. Click Apply button to save settigns and
exittheinterface.
Note: The Server Port should be set to the range of
2000-65535 and is used for remote client soware
access. The HTTP port is used for remote IE access.
Conguring Email
Purpose:
Thesystemcanbeconguredtosendanemail
noticationtodesignatedusersif,analarmmotion
event is detected or if the administrator password
is changed.
BeforeconguringtheemailSettings,theDVR
mustbeconnectedtoalocalareanetwork(LAN)
thatmaintainsanSMTPmailserver.Thenetwork
must also be connected to either an intranet or the
Internetdependingonthelocationofthee-mail
accountstowhichyouwanttosendnotications.
Steps:
1. EntertheNetworkSettingsinterface.
Menu>Conguration>Network
2. Set the IPv4 Address, IPv4 Subnet Mask,
IPv4GatewayandthePreferredDNSServer
intheNetworkSettingsmenu.
3. Click the Apply button to save the settings.
