Conguring General
Network Settings
Purpose:
Network settings must be properly congured
before you operate DVR over network.
Steps:
1. Enter the Network Sengs interface.
Menu >Conguraon>Network
2. Select the General tab.

3. In the General Settings interface,you
cancongurethefollowingsettings:NIC
Type,IPv4Address,IPv4Gateway,MTU
andDNSServer.
IftheDHCPserverisavailable,youcan
checkthecheckboxnexttoDHCP to
automatically obtain an IP address and
other network settings from that server.
4. Afterconguringthegeneralsettings,
click Apply to save the settings.

Settings
Conguring DDNS
Purpose:
If your DVR is set to use PPPoE as its default
network connection, you may set Dynamic DNS
(DDNS)tobeusedfornetworkaccess.
Prior registration with your ISP is required before
conguringthesystemtouseDDNS.
Steps:
1. EntertheNetworkSettingsinterface.
Menu >Conguraon>Network
2. Select the DDNS tabtoentertheDDNS
Settings interface.

3. Check the DDNS checkboxtoenablethis
feature.
4. Select DDNS Type.FivedierentDDNS
typesareselectable:IPServer,DynDNS,
PeanutHull,NO-IPandHiDDNS.
Conguring NTP Server
Purpose:
A Network Time Protocol (NTP) Server can be
conguredonyourDVRtoensuretheaccuracyof
systemdate/time.
Steps:
1. EntertheNetworkSettingsinterface.
Menu >Conguraon>Network
2. Select the NTP tabtoentertheNTP
Settings interface.

3. Check the Enable NTPcheckboxto
enable this feature.
4. CongurethefollowingNTPsettings:
• Interval: Timebetweenthetwo
synchronizingactionswithNTP
server.Theunitoftimeisin
minutes.
• NTP Server: IPaddressofNTP
server.
• NTP Port: PortofNTPserver.
5. Click the Apply button to save settings
andexittheinterface.
Note: The me synchronizaon interval can be
set from 1 to 10,080 min, and the default value is
