5. OPERATION

5.1. PUNCTURE REPAIR

 WARNING! Ifthepuncturepointinthetyreisnotwithin3/4widthofthetyretread,DO NOTattemptarepair.

5.1.1. Removeobject(causingpuncture)fromtyreifrequired.

5.1.2. Coattheraspwiththinlmofsiliconlubricantandclean/widenpunctureholebyinsertingandrotatingtherasp. 

5.1.3. Fitrepairstripintoinsertionneedleslotwith50%protrudingfromeachside.

5.1.4. Usingtheinsertionneedle,pushthestripmostofthewaythroughthetyrewiththeinsertionneedle,leave13mmofthestripsticking

 out.

5.1.5. Asyoupulltheinsertionneedlebackout,useyourotherhandtopushdowntheinsertiontoolcollaragainstthetyreleavingtherepair

 stripinplace.

5.1.6. Therepairstripendsprotrudingfromtyrewillneedtobecuto󰀨.

5.1.7. Wipecleanitemsinthekit.Storekitinasafe,childprooflocation.

5.1.8. Allow30minutesminimumforgluestriptosetbeforeinatingthetyre.

 explosionandpersonalinjury.
