1. SAFETY
WARNING! Read instructions before use. Suitable for 12V operation only.
WARNING! This compressor is capable of producing a high pressure. DO NOT inate any item beyond its maximum capacity.
8 DO NOT leave the unit unattended while in operation.
9 Check capacity and maximum pressure of any inatable before commencing ination.
9 Monitor the pressure gauge while in operation.
9 The gauge should be used as an indication of pressure only. We recommend the use of a dial pressure gauge for denitive reading.
9 Locate compressor on an appropriate surface for use.
9 The 12V auxiliary plug must not be substituted with any other type of plug or electrical supply.
8 DO NOT direct ination hose connector head at yourself, others or animals.
8 DO NOT carry by the hose, or pull the hose sharply from a valve.
8 DO NOT pull the power cable from the vehicle accessory socket or battery terminal by the power lead.

4. OPERATION
WARNING! Ensure you have read and understood the safety
4.1. Place the compressor on a sound, flat surface ensuring that the inflation air hose can reach the tyre valve.
NOTE: It is recommended that the car’s engine is running during compressor use to operate it under optimal voltage requirements and to
prevent a flat battery. Beware of exhaust fumes.
4.2. Remove the valve cap and attach the compressor chuck to the vehicle tyre. Press the chuck firmly down onto the valve end, then
lower locking lever down to secure the chuck to the valve stem.

IMPORTANT: Inflation will only be effective if the connector head is fully fitted and secured onto the valve.
4.3. We recommend the use of a dial pressure gauge for a definitive reading of tyre pressure.
4.4. Connect compressor power cables directly to vehicle battery or 12V DC power source. Red Positive (+) clamp to Positive battery
terminal, Black Negative (-) to battery Negative terminal. PLEASE TAKE CARE NOT TO ACCIDENTALLY REVERSE THE POLARITY!
4.5. Set the target pressure on the compressor LED display by using the UP or DOWN buttons, fig.1. To start the compressor, press the ON
(middle) button, the green operation LED will illuminate. The compressor will automatically turn off when the target pressure is
reached. The gradient reading LED below the target pressure will show progress during inflation.
4.6. If your target pressure is lower than the existing tyre pressure, when the chuck is connected with power on the gradient gauge will be
completely lit and the compressor will not start operation. Manually deflate the tyre by depressing the valve until the pressure is
below your target, and then complete the above steps.
4.7. THERMAL PROTECTION
4.7.1. This compressor is fitted with a high temperature thermal shut off to protect the compressor if it is overloaded. If the unit gets too hot,
it will automatically turn off until it cools down again. When this occurs, the red LED indicator will illuminate showing this condition, fig.1.
The compressor can be restarted once the red LED goes out.
4.8. AIR FILTER see fig.2
4.8.1. The compressor has a serviceable foam air filter to prevent debris entering the internal workings. To clean remove the foam pad,
(unscrew end thumb wheel) rinse with mild soapy water. Wait for the pad to completely dry before refitting.
NOTE: As the delivery pressure increases, the pump delivery volume will decrease.
4.9. Remove the air hose from the tyre valve. Switch off the vehicle engine. Replace the dust cap onto the valve.
4.10. After use, disconnect the compressor from the vehicle accessory socket or battery and store it in a safe, dry location.
4.11. GENERAL INFORMATION
4.11.1. The time it will take to inflate a tyre will depend upon the amount of air required.
4.11.2. Should the compressor fail to start when switched on, check the connections and fuse see 4.11.
NOTE: The compressor may also be used to inflate items such as inflatable dinghies, sports balls, air beds etc. Use the appropriate
inflation nozzle for the item.
CAUTION: Some items may not indicate pressure required or the maximum pressure. Be careful not to over-inflate.
NOTE: The pressure gauge is not a calibrated instrument. It is recommended to use an approved dial pressure gauge for a definitive
reading.
4.12. FUSES
The compressors are protected by an automotive style blade fuse. The fuse is housed in the rubber holder which is part of the supply
lead. DO NOT replace the fuse with any not of the same specication as the original.
