essential that the stand is levelled before loading with equipment. Secure wing nuts (B) on the tripod see g.1. Note: If you DO NOT
tighten the wing nuts the telescopic tube may retract under load.

over in windy conditions.
4.6. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
4.6.1. Before adjusting the height, check the following:
9 - Is the tripod stand set up correctly, and has the condition of the ground been taken into account?
9 - Is the oodlight or tripod correctly balanced and locked in place (screw C)?
9 - Rotate (H) clockwise to raise the column. Fig.6
9 - Rotate (H) counter-clockwise to lower the column. Fig.6
4.6.2. When the desired height is reached, screw D\ E\ F and G in to lock them. Don’t forget to attach the safety rope, attach the safety rope
to the tripod brackets. Drive the reinforcement spikes into the ground and attach the safety rope. See diagram below. Fig.5
4.6.3. If problems arise when cranking, check the following:
9 - Have screws D\ E\ F and G been loosend?
9 - Is the load on the stand too heavy (max. 30kg)?
9 - Is there any sign of damage to the stand (ie. Caused during transportation).
9 - Is the height adjustment being restricted by a branch, ceiling, or balustrades etc.
9 - Have any of the safety cables (where tted) not been released?
4.7. SAFETY INSPECTION

raises and lowers the oodlight are in good working condition. In the event that a cable is frayed or slack (with stand loaded with I & J
loosend), stop using the stand and send it to your authorised service centre.
