Chapter 7 Troublesh ooting
The Oscillosco pe ca nnot power on
The battery may run out. Try to power on the
Oscilloscope again with use of the power adaptor

Make sure channel attenuation factor is
consistent with probe factor on the applied
probe
.
1. Make sure the probe is properly connected to
the connection wire
2. Make sure the connection wire is correctl

attached to BNC channel connector
3. Make sure the probe is properly connected to the
tested object.
4. Make sure there are signals generated from the
tested object you can connect the channel
that can produce signals to the suspected
channel and verify the cause

5. Restart the acquisition

trigger menu is the same with actual input
channel
2. Check trigger type Edge type is generall

selected for common signals use video trigger
type for video signals. Onlywhen proper trigger
