IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are labelled in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable). The
wire labelled blue is the neutral and must be
connected to the terminal marked [N].
The wire labelled brown is the live wire and must
be connected to the terminal marked [L].
The wire labelled green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with the letter
[E].
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal.
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of

If you need to remove the plug - disconnect it

BEFORE FIRST USE:
1. Remove your appliance from the
packaging. Check the contents are
all present and that there is no visible
damage to the cord or appliance.
2. Install your appliance in accordance with
the installation & safety instructions.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal
use.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible
manner.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
WARNING: Danger of explosion if battery is
incorrectly replaced.
WARNING: DO NOT INGEST BATTERY;
CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD. This product
contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/
button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause
severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can
lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from
children. If the battery compartment does not
close securely, stop using the product and
keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been
swallowed or placed inside any part of the
body, seek immediate medical attention.
If the coin cell battery contents come into
contact with the skin, immediately wash area
with mild soap and water. If coin cell battery
liquid gets into the eye, rinse water over the
open eye for 15 minutes or until irritation
ceases. If medical attention is needed, the
battery electrolyte is composed of an organic
solvent and lithium salts.
Do not incinerate or dispose of tool together
with household waste material! Tool that has
reached the end of its life must be collected
separately and returned to an environmentally
compatible recycling facility.
To install the battery, rst detach the battery
cover from the remote.
Insert 1 x CR2025 battery into the battery
compartment, taking care to ensure the
positive polarity is facing upwards.

Once the battery is in place, slide the battery
cover back into the remote. It will automatically
lock into place and secure the battery inside.
INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE
The appliance is designed to be wall mounted
or free standing.
Wall Mounting:
1. This appliance is designed to be xed to a
wall at a minimum height of 300mm and
the minimum distance from the top of the
unit to the ceiling should be 1000mm.
2. A distance of 600mm from the bottom
of the unit to the oor is recommended
for optimum viewing of the fuel bed;
see below for recommended xing
dimensions.
3. Drill two 8Ø mm holes in the wall (See
Figure 1) 26.7cm apart.
4. Insert the dry wall anchors into the holes,
gently tapping them with a hammer until
the ange of the wall anchor is ush with
the wall surface and rmly tighten them
with the screws provided (See gure 2).
This unit is provided with a wall mounting
brackets, screws and wall plugs.
Note: The screws and plugs provided are only
suitable for a solid wall xing.
If the installation is onto a hollow/stud wall,
heavy duty wall anchors or equivalent are
recommended.

Wall Mounting:
1. Fix the feet supplied to the bottom of the
appliance with the screws supplied.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Turning the Unit On and O:
Note: Do not press buttons more than once
within two seconds, in order to allow time for
the receiver to respond to the transmitter.
1. Insert the plug in a suitable power socket.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch to the ON
position.
3. There will be an audible signal, the LED
display will briey ash on and then the
appliance will enter stand-by mode.
4. The LED display will show the power
icon.
5. Press the key on the control panel or
the remote to turn the unit ON. The unit
will emit an audible signal and the LED
display will illuminate. The unit’s default
is with the ame intensity at its highest
setting.
Note: If no further keys are pressed the display
screen will go o. It can be re activated by
pressing any key.
6. Press the key again to turn the unit
o to stand-by.
Note: The fan will continue to work for a few
seconds without heat.
7. Press the ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
Setting the Date and Time
On the control panel:
press the key, the day will ash. Press
the and keys to set the current
day.
8. Press the key, the hour will ash.
Press the and keys to set the
current hour.
9. Press the key, the minute will ash.
Press the and keys to set the
current minutes.
On the remote:
1. Press the key followed by the

keys to select the current day.
2. Press the key followed by the

4. The day and time will show on the
display screen.
Weekly Timer
Pre-set the time of operation using the
remote control.
1. To set the day, press the key. The
time will show 00:00 and ‘day’ and
‘ON’ will ash on the display screen.

day the timer is to be set for.
Set the time the unit is to start operation:
1. Press the key followed by the

To set the auto-o time:
1. Press the key. The display screen
will show 00:00 and the ‘day’ and ‘OFF’

5. Once the timer has been set the
icon will illuminate on the display

Flame Eect
1. On the control panel or remote control,
press the key to cycle through the 5
ame intensity levels.
2. The LED display icon will show the
ame intensity level selected.
Heating Selection
This unit can operate with or without the
heating function. To activate the heating
function:
3. On the control panel or remote control,
press the key to cycle through
low heat 1750W, high heat 2000W
and OFF. The heat icons will illuminate
accordingly.
Note:
Once switched o the fan will continue
to operate for a few seconds.
Temperature Selection
Once the ambient temperature is reached,
the unit will automatically stop heating. When
the ambient temperature drops below the
desired temperature by approximately 2°C,
the unit will resume heating.
1. Activate the heating function by
pressing the key on the control
panel or remote control. The
temperature display will ash.
2. Press the
and
keys to set the
required room temperature, within the
range of 15°C-30°C. The temperature
will change in increments of 1°C.
3. The display shows the current room
temperature. Press the key to
check the selected temperature setting.
Open Window Detection
WARNING: The unit will turn o automatically
when the temperature drops suddenly by
5-10℃. The corresponding indicator light
on the display will illuminate to indicate that
this function has been activated.
Safety System
• In the event of abnormal overheating, a
safety device shuts down the appliance
automatically. After a short cooling
down phase, inspect for blockage of air
inlet or outlet and then the appliance is
ready for use again.
• If you still notice the same defect as
above mentioned, remove the plug
from the socket and consult your
authorised dealer or your after-sales
service department.
• During use, do not touch or cover
the air outlet. This may cause the unit
to overheat, and the safety device to
operate.
CHECK THAT YOU HAVE NOTED ALL THE
FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:

is accessible and located adjacent to,
but not above or behind the re.
• Always disconnect the re from the
electrical supply before carrying out
cleaning or maintenance.
• Always make sure the re is rmly
secured.
• Always ensure the product is
assembled in an area that is free from
dust, grease or liquids.
• Always ensure that the correct tools are
used to assemble/install this product.
Don’t:
• Never leave children unsupervised
in a room where the re is ON and
unguarded.
• Never obstruct or cover the fan outlet or
force items into re openings.
• Never install or use the re anywhere
where water is in use, i.e. bathrooms,
kitchens, shower rooms swimming
pools etc.
• Never use aerosols or steam cleaners
on or around the re.
• Never route the mains supply cable
under carpet etc.
• Never install the re close to curtains or
combustible materials.
• Never use the re to dry clothes etc.
• Never sit or stand on the re.
• Never cut o the plug and hard wire
into a xed fused spur.
Note:
When the re is turned on for the rst
time or when it has not been used for some
time, it may release a slight, harmless odour.
This odour is a normal occurrence caused
by the initial heating of the internal heating
elements or dust, and will disappear with
use.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The re is not operating
Check the mains socket to ensure that the plug
is inserted correctly and switched on at the
socket.
Check that the ON/OFF switch for the re has
been pressed ON.
Be aware that the safety cut-out may have
activated.
No heat
Check the functions set.
Be aware that the room temperature may
have reached 30°C and the re therefore has
automatically switched OFF.
Fire stops operating
The safety cut-out may have operated. Follow
the procedures outlined in the Safety System.
CLEANING AND CARE
• WARNING! Before cleaning and
maintenance, switch the appliance o
and remove the plug from the socket,
to prevent electric shock. Allow the
appliance to cool down.
CAUTION! Allow the unit to completely cool
before handling or cleaning it.
• Do not immerse any part of the appliance,
power cord or plug in liquids.
• Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the surface.
Avoid using abrasives, detergent, spray or
chemicals as these may cause damage to
the appliance.
• Check all inlets and outlets from time to
time for accumulated dust. Remove dust
with a soft cloth or vacuum. ♦WARNING:
DO NOT allow water or steam to enter
any part of the appliance, as this could
cause it to malfunction.
