contact
contact
Use the contact command to modify the System Contact information. The default contact name is “localadmin@poweralert”.
Syntax
contact <contact-name>
• contact-name – Sets the new name for the System Contact information.
Example
The following command sets the System Contact information to “John Smith: (123) 555-1234”:
console> contact “John Smith: (123) 555-1234”

show contact
Use the show contact command to display the current System Contact.
Syntax
show contact
Example
The following command displays the System Contact:
console> show contact
John Smith: (123) 555-1234
default
default date-format
Use the default date-format command to set the global date format. Note that format selections are case-sensitive and
must be entered using the same capitalization as documented. Users can individually override this setting by using the default
user data-format command.
Syntax
default date-format {M/d/yyyy | M/d/yy | MM/dd/yy | MM/dd/yyyy | yy/MM/dd | yyyy-MM-dd | dd-MM-yy}
Examples
The following command sets the global date format preference to “MM/dd/yyyy”:
console> default date-format MM/dd/yyyy
