snmp
snmp port
Use the snmp port command to set the port number to use for inbound SNMP GETs and SETs. The default port number for
the SNMP service is 161. Use the apply network command to complete SNMP configuration.
Syntax
snmp port <port-number>
• port-number – Specifies the port number to use for inbound SNMP GETs and SETs (Range: 1-65535).
Examples
The following command changes the SNMP port to 163:
console> snmp port 163
Update complete
NOTE: Use the “apply network” command to complete the change. This may cause a system
reboot.
