show test
Use the show test command to display the metrics of the last test message sent to the SMS recipient.
Syntax
show test
Examples
The following command displays the metrics of the last test SMS message for entry “maryd”:
console(maryd)> show test
Successful - 1/1/2020 7:34:45 PM
smtp
smtp authentication enable
Use the smtp authentication enable command to optionally enable SMTP authentication. Note that an SMTP user name,
password and security type must be entered before SMTP authentication can be enabled. Use the no form of this command
to disable SMTP authentication. Use the apply network command to complete SMTP configuration.
Syntax
smtp authentication enable
no smtp authentication enable
Examples
The following command enables SMTP authentication:
console> smtp authentication enable
Update complete
NOTE: Use the “apply network” command to complete the change. This may cause a system
reboot.
