Problem Possible cause and solution
F233 The cup sensor is not inserted or is incorrectly
inserted.
The stainless steel cover of the main dispenser was
not installed properly, e.g. is tilting forwards slightly.
If the main dispenser is moving upwards and the cup
sensor is bumped, e.g. with a cup, the cup sensor
loses its reference position.
Confirm the message withOK.
Switch the coffee machine off with the On/Off
button. Wait for at least 30minutes before
switching the machine back on again. Or
disconnect the appliance from the electricity
supply by removing the plug from the socket or
switching off the fuse.
Refit the cup sensor.
Refit the stainless steel cover. Make sure the cover
is installed correctly.
F355, F357– F362 The bean system must be set up again, e.g. coffee
beans have possibly got jammed.
Switch the coffee machine off with the On/Off
button. Wait for 30minutes before switching
the machine back on again.
