Copying images to your computer
, Double-click the desired image
file.
Copying a file to the hard disk of your
computer before viewing it is recommended. If
you play back the file directly from the disc, the
image and sound may break off.
You can view images using a USB connection
on a Windows machine (page 51).
You can view images using a USB connection
only on a Macintosh machine running Mac OS
X.

Image file storage destinations and image file names
Image files recorded with your camera are
grouped as folders in the disc by recording
mode.

The meanings of the file names in the
following table are as follows:
ssss stands for any number within the
range from 0001 to 9999.
The numerical portions of the following
files are the same.
A small-size image file shot in E-MAIL
mode and its corresponding image file
An uncompressed image file shot in
TIFF
mode and its corresponding image file
An audio file shot in
VOICE mode and
its corresponding image file
An image file shot with Clip Motion and
its corresponding index image file
Folder containing still image, Burst mode image,
Exposure Bracket mode image, Clip Motion image and
Multi Burst image data
Folder containing E-MAIL mode and TIFF mode image
