#1 If I use the mop function, will it detect rugs or carpets and avoid them and stick to hardwood or will it also try to mop the rug?

If you use the mop function, it won't support detecting rugs or carpets and avoiding them.
To avoid the device mopping and dirt the rug, it is suggested to set a no-mop zone around the carpet area.

#2 Mapping: My L35 hybrid+ keeps deleting the map. Any tips on how to get it to successfully complete and save a map?

Please help confirm if the device once got stuck during the cleaning before a valid map(colored one) was created.
