Problem Possible cause and solution
 appears on the
display.
This prompt reminds you that the microwave oven
must not be used without any food inside it. There
may not be any food inside the microwave oven yet,
given that you have not opened the door for a long
time (approx. 20minutes).
Make sure that some food has actually been
placed inside the oven.
Confirm the prompt with OK or by opening and
closing the door and selecting the sensor control.
The key symbol
appears on the display.
The system lock is activated.
You can deactivate the system lock by touching
the OKsensor control for at least 6seconds.
The symbol and the
time of day display both
flash.
There has been a power failure.
Reset the time of day.
If a cooking process was interrupted, restart it
from the beginning.
The turntable is very
jerky.
The turntable, roller ring, or floor of the oven may be
dirty.
Clean the turntable, the roller ring, and the floor of
the oven.
Clean the contact surfaces between the turntable
and the roller ring.
Put the roller ring back inside and place the
turntable on top.
A noise is heard after
the cooking process is
complete.
After the cooking process the cooling fan will
continue to run for a while after a program is
complete to prevent moisture from building up in
the oven, on the control panel or surrounding
cabinetry.
The cooling fan will turn off automatically.
An abnormal sound can
be heard during a
cooking process.
A metal dish has been used during a cooking
process.
Check if the metal dishes you have been using
generate sparks (see “Microwave operation –
Suitable dishware”).
The food was covered with aluminum foil during a
cooking process.
Remove the foil, if applicable.
