With the help of the following guide minor faults in the performance of the
machine, some of which may result from incorrect operation, can be remedied
without contacting the Service Department.
This guide may help you to find the reason for the fault, and how to correct it.
Problem Possible cause and solution
You cannot start a
cooking process.
The door is still open.
Check whether the door is closed properly.
The message appears on the display. There
may not be any food inside the oven, given that you
have not opened the door for a long time (approx.
20minutes).
Open the door and, if necessary, place the food in
the oven.
Close the door and then select the sensor
control.
The system lock is activated. The key symbol
appears on the display.
You can deactivate the system lock by touching
the OKsensor control for at least 6seconds.
There is no power running to the microwave oven.
Check that the electrical plug of the microwave
oven is correctly inserted in the outlet.
Check if the breaker has tripped. If it has, contact
a qualified electrician or Miele Customer Service.
The display is dark. It is between 11:00pm and 5:00am and night
dimming is activated. As a result, the display remains
dark when the microwave is switched off.
As soon as you switch on the microwave oven, the
main menu will appear. If you want the time of day
to be displayed constantly, select the | |
setting (see “Settings”).
There is no power running to the microwave oven.
