Functions
You can change the MIDI channel for transmitting MIDI messages from [USB TO HOST] or MIDI [OUT]
to a connected MIDI device. To change the channel in steps, simultaneously hold down the [FUNCTION]
button and press the D6 or E6 key. To reset to the default channel, simultaneously hold down the
[FUNCTION] button and press the D#6 key.
Default channels:
NOTE
The channel range is from MIDI port 1, channel 1 to MIDI port 1, channel 8.
The three parts change in conjunction.
The channel will not be changed if you press “Channel up 1” when the Main part is set to channel 8, or if you press “Channel down 1
when it is set to channel 1. However, in the case of the Left part and Layer part, the channels will be changed by pressing “Channel
up 1” or “Channel down 1” when channel 8/channel 1 are set, respectively.
Example
You can shift the pitch of the entire keyboard up or down in semitones in order to facilitate playing in difficult key signatures, or to easily match
the pitch of the keyboard to the range of a singer or other instruments. To transpose, simultaneously hold down the [FUNCTION] button and
press the F6 or G6 key. To restore the normal pitch, simultaneously hold down the [FUNCTION] button and press the F#6key.
