Functions
Functions
This instrument gives you access to certain functions, by simply holding down the [FUNCTION] button
and pressing the relevant key (as shown below). This lets you perform various functions and change
important settings, without the need of a smart device.

Key Voi ce Voice description
C0 CFX Grand Yamaha’s CFX flagship concert grand piano sound with a wide dynamic range for maximum expressive
control. Suitable for playing in any music genre and style.
C#0 Bösendorfer The famed sound of the Vienna-made Bösendorfer full concert grand piano. Its spacious sound evokes
the size of the instrument, and is ideal for expressing tenderness in compositions.
D0 Upright Piano Stereo-sampled, upright piano sound with unique tonal character and a lighter, more casual feel.
D#0 Suitcase EP The sound of an electric piano using hammer-struck metallic “tines.” Soft tone when played lightly, and
an aggressive tone when played hard.
E0 Vintage EP A different type of electric piano sound than Suitecase EP. Widely used in rock and popular music.
F0 Sweet DX EP An electronic piano sound produced by an FM synthesizer. The tone will change as you vary your
playing touch. Ideal for popular music.
F#0 Whiter Bars The sound of a “tonewheel” type electric organ. Sampled with Rotary speaker effect, its rotation speed is
slow. Often heard in jazz and rock idioms.
G0 Pipe Organ Principal This Voice features the combination of pipes (8'+4'+2') of a principal (brass instrument) organ. It is
suitable for Baroque church music.
G#0 Harpsichord 1 The sound of the instrument frequently used in baroque music. Variations in playing touch will not
affect the volume, and a characteristic sound will be heard when you release the key.
A0 Vibraphone A Vibraphone sound, sampled in stereo. Its spacious and clear sound is ideal for popular music.
