. When the light control switch is in the

– The engine is running.
– The parking brake is fully released.
– The select lever is in a position other
than “P” position.
– The level of the ambient light is as
dark as the auto on/off headlights turns
on.
. When the light switch is turned to the

. When the light control switch is in the
“AUTO” position and the headlights illumi-
nate automatically.
