Bluetooth connection
Menu > 9. Settings > 5. Connectivity > 1. Bluetooth
Your phone has built-in Bluetooth wireless
technology which makes it possible for you to
connect your phone wirelessly to other Bluetooth
devices such as a handsfree, PC, PDA, a remote
screen, or other phones.
You can, for example, have a conversation via a
cordless Bluetooth handsfree or browse the Internet,
wirelessly connected via a mobile phone. You can
also exchange, for example, business cards, calendar
items and pictures.
1. Getting started
Menu > 9. Settings > 5. Connectivity
> 1. Bluetooth > 1. Bluetooth On/Off
To use the Bluetooth function, you must first set
Bluetooth to "On". Complete the above procedures
to set Bluetooth to "On".
2. Configuring Bluetooth settings
Menu > 9. Settings > 5. Connectivity
> 1. Bluetooth > 4. Bluetooth Settings
- Bluetooth: To use the Bluetooth function, set it to
[On]. Otherwise, set it to [Off].
- My handset’s visibility: Set [My handset’s visibility
status] to [Shown to all] so that other devices can
detect your phone when they are searching for a
Bluetooth device. If you select [Hidden], other
devices will not be able to detect your phone when
they are searching for a Bluetooth device.
- My handset’s name: You can name or rename your
phone as it will appear on other devices. Your
phone's name will be shown on other devices only
when [My handset’s visibility] is set to [Shown to
All].

Note
]
We recommend that your phone and the
Bluetooth device you are communicating with
be within a range of 10 meters. The connection
may be improved if there are no solid objects in
between your phone and the other Bluetooth
device.
