Using the Jump Starter
WARNING: Always read the vehicle owner's manual. Ensure the jump starter is off before connecting.
- Turn the jump starter power switch to the ON position.
- Connect the red jumper clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead vehicle battery.
- Connect the black jumper clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis (a ground point), away from the battery and fuel lines.
- Start the vehicle's engine. If the battery is completely dead, press and hold the "Force Start" button on the jump starter, then attempt to start the vehicle.
- Once the vehicle starts, turn the jump starter OFF.
