Problem Possible cause and remedy
The message "Moisture
control faulty - Automat
-
ic programmes will
operate without
moisture" appears in the
display after selecting
an Automatic
programme.
The steam injection system is faulty.
^
Call Miele.
Automatic programmes can be run without using
moisture.
After selecting the
Moisture Plus d
function, "Moisture
control faulty - Moisture
Plus programme is not
available" appears in
the display.
The steam injection system is faulty.
^
Call Miele.
^
Use the Fan Plus U function instead of the Moisture
Plus d function.
Programmes using
moisture will not take in
water.
^ Check whether "On" has been selected for Demo
mode (see "Settings - Showroom programme").
The oven can be used in Demo mode but the pump for
the steam injection system will not work.
^ Deactivate Demo mode.
The food probe is not
recognised by the oven.
You cannot set a core
temperature.
^ Check whether the food probe is correctly plugged
into the connection socket.
If the oven still does not recognise the food probe, it
must be faulty.
A replacement food probe can be ordered from Miele.
A noise can be heard
after a cooking process.
The fan remains switched on after a cooking
programme (see "Settings - Cooling fan run-on").
The trays and rack
make a screeching
sound when pushed in
or taken out of the oven.
Friction occurs between the shelf runners and the rack
or trays due to the special heat-resistant glazing
applied to these components at the factory.
Lightly grease the shelf runners with a few drops of
cooking oil applied to a soft cloth.
Do this after each Pyrolytic programme to maintain
lubrication.
