Baking tins It is best to use dark baking tins.
Light coloured baking tins made from thin-wall
materials or glass containers lead to longer baking
times and uneven browning.
Always place the tin in the centre of the flat wire shelf.
Tip A lower temperature allows more even browning.

The temperature and baking time you select depends
on the quantity and type of food. This is why ranges
are given in the tables. You should try to use a lower
temperature setting to start with. If necessary, use a
higher temperature setting next time.
