Removing a wheel
Parking the vehicle
Immobilisethevehiclewhereitdoesnot
blocktraffic:thegroundmustbelevel,
stableandnotslippery.
Applytheparkingbrake,switchoffthe
ignitionandengagefirstgear*toblock
thewheels.
Checkthattheparkingbrakewarning
lampintheinstrumentpanelcomeson.
Theoccupantsmustgetoutofthe
vehicleandwaitwheretheyaresafe.
Ensurethatthejackiscorrectly
positionedatoneofthevehicle's
jackingpoints.
Incorrectuseofthejackcouldcause
thevehicletodrop.
Nevergounderneathavehicleraised
usingajack;useanaxlestand.

Donotuseajackotherthantheone
suppliedbythemanufacturer.

Wheel with wheel trim
When removing the wheel, first
removethewheeltrimusingthe
wheelbrace1bypullingatthevalve
aperture.
When refitting the wheel, refit the
wheeltrim,startingbyplacingitscutout
inlinewiththevalveandthenpressing
rounditsedgewiththepalmofyour
hand.
F Removethewheelboltcoverusingthe
tool 3(alloywheels).
