(e) Whenarearwardfacingchildseatisinstalledonthefront passenger seat,thepassenger's

airbagmustbedeactivated.Otherwise,the child would risk being seriously injured or

killed if the airbag were deployed.Whenaforwardfacingchildseatisinstalledonthefront

passenger seat,thepassenger'sairbagmustremainactivate.

InaccordancewithEuropeanregulations,thistableindicatestheoptionsforinstallingchildseatssecuredusingaseatbeltanduniversallyapproved(a)

inaccordancewiththeweightofthechildandtheseatinthevehicle.

Removeandstowtheheadrestraint

beforeinstallingachildseatwitha

backrestonapassengerseat.Refitthe

headrestraintoncethechildseathas

beenremoved.
