Playing music files
using the USB device
You can play music les contained in the USB
device.
Basic Operation
1. Insert a USB device to the IPod/USB Port until it
ts into place.
2. Press IPOD/USB.
The total number of les is displayed on the
display window.
3. Referring to the following table, press the
corresponding button for the operation.

Display Description
OFF Returns to normal playback.
RPT 1 Plays the current le repeatedly.
RPT D Plays all the les repeatedly within a
folder.
RPT ALL Plays all the les repeatedly.
RANDOM Plays all the les in random order.
Music file requirement
Music le compatibility with this unit is limited as
follows:

Sampling frequency : within 32 to 48 kHz (MP3),
within 32 to 48 kHz (WMA)
y
Bit rate : within 32 to 320 kbps (MP3),
40 to 192 kbps (WMA)
y
Support Version : v2, v7, v8, v9
y
Maximum les : Under 999
y
File extensions : .mp3”/ .wma”
y
We recommend that you use Easy-CD Creator,
which creates an ISO 9660 le system.
USB device requirement
y
A device using NTFS le system is not supported.
(Only FAT (12/16/32) le system is supported.)
y
Do not extract the USB device during operation
(play, etc.).
y
A USB device which requires additional program
installation when you have connected it to a
computer, is not supported.
y
USB device: USB device that supports USB1.1.
y
Regular back up is recommended to prevent
data loss.
y
If you use a USB extension cable, USB HUB or
USB Multi-reader, the USB device may not be
recognized.
y
Some USB device may not work with this unit.
y
Digital camera and mobile phone are not
supported.
y
IPod/USB Port of the unit cannot be connected
to PC. The unit cannot be used as a storage
device.
y
When you connect a partitioned USB device into
the unit, only the  rst partition is recognized on
it.
