Removing the transport locks
Caution!
Damage to the appliance
■ The machine is secured for
transportation using transport locks.
If the transport locks are not
removed, the drum, for example,
may become damaged when the
machine is operated.
Before using the appliance for the
first time, make sure that you
completely remove all four transport
locks. Keep the locks in a safe
place.
■ To prevent transport damage from
occurring if the appliance is moved
at a later date, you must refit the
transport locks before transporting
the appliance.
1. Take the hoses out of the holders.
2. Use a WAF13 spanner to undo and
remove all four transport lock bolts.
3. Remove the sleeves. Remove the
mains cable from the holders.
4. Put on the cover caps.
5. Press the cover cap down firmly at
the top, while at the same time
pushing it downwards until you hear
the hooks clicking into place.
Retain the bolts and sleeves for future
